No I didn't make this sign up. These signs really exists, most of you just never notice it before because it's usually out of the way somewhere. For those who can't see what it says - "Welcome To Vancouver A Nuclear Weapons Free Zone". I found a few of these as you enter Vancouver from Richmond or Burnaby. Is it really something you want to advertise if we ever get attacked? These signs are old, I'll give them that. The public was probably worried that Vancouver might be housing nuclear weapons before. But the real question is - if Vancouver is free from nuclear weapons, does that mean Richmond and Burnaby isn't? And if so, does it really matter if Vancouver doesn't have any nuclear weapons. After all, if something happens we will also be affected, radiation doesn't stop at the borders.

The man who is really serious, with the urge to find out what
truth is, has no style at all. He lives only in what is.
