What is it about your best friend that seems to just know what to do? They know exactly what to say when you are down. And they know exactly what to do when you are troubled. They are there when you need them and sometimes there when you don't need them. Sometimes all they need to do is be there. A quality they seem to develop over time.

My best friend is nothing extraordinary but she's extraordinary to me. Maybe it's because I trust her. Maybe it's because we go way back. But whatever it maybe I know she's a lot of help. I rarely see or talk to my best friend. She's out there doing her own thing and busy with her life which is great for her. I wouldn't have it any other way. But when we do talk or get together, everything seems to become brighter. It's comforting to know that I can be myself around her and not worry about being judged. It's wonderful how she doesn't even have to do a thing to make me feel better.

All it needs is a little understanding and a lot of trust, and who better to give you all that and much more than your best friend. Thanks for standing by me and for everything else.
