Recently I watched the movie "The Departed". Having watched "Infernal Affairs", I already knew the plotline, climax and ending. For those who don't know, "The Departed" is a remake of a 2002 Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs". For those who enjoyed "The Departed", I recommend watching "Infernal Affairs".

"The Departed" was a very well done Hollywood movie focused on the action and violence. The dialogue on the most part was great and Mark Wahlberg stole every scene he was in. Unfortunately, there was no real purpose for his character to be in the movie.

What was lost in the movie that "Infernal Affairs" had was the emotional connection you had with the characters. The strong connection that Chan Wing Yan and SP Wong had while Billy Costigan and Oliver Queenan didn't. Personally, I find Tony Leung's portrail of the undercover cop more moving and believable than Leonardo DiCaprio's.

Not to take away from "The Departed" as it was still an amazing movie and it nicely combined the "Infernal Affairs" trilogy into one movie. It is a definite must watch.

Like Justin Timberlake's first solo venture, his current album is a surprising success (at least to me) outside the boy band genre.

I must admit, I'm liking "FutureSex/Love Sounds". He successfully broke out and did something different. He's proven that he has staying power. Now the question is, can he do it alone? Like "Justified", he employs a handful of big name producers to help out.

I want to just take a minute to discuss the Pussycat Dolls' current single "I Don't Need a Man".

Here are some of the lyrics: I don't need a man to make it happen/I get off being free/I don't need a man to make me feel good/I get off doing my thing

It's just funny to me that their first/last three songs employed a man in each. Busta Rhymes, Will.i.am and Snoop Dogg. I know that's not what the song is about. Just a little food for thought.

For someone who doesn't really watching anything on TV except "CSI", "How I Met Your Mother" came as a surprise. As I was channel surfing one day, I stumble on to this show. A fan of "Doogie Howser, MD" and upon seeing Neil Patrick Harris, I watched on. His portrail of Barney Stinson is amazing with his attutide and catch phrases. It's worth watching the show for Barney alone and he is definitely the star of the show.

As long as the writers don't change up the formula from the first season, this show should last for a few years. Let's face it, a few seasons for a comedy these days is a long time. So "suit up!" and catch an episode of this show when you have a chance if you haven't already. Because it's bound to be "legendary".
