Interested
in a study of sleep deprivation? How about
studying a nocturnal person with a busy
schedule and little sleep for the next few
months? It would be interesting to see how
long that person will continue to function
before they pass out. Bonus study would
be to see how well that person functions
throughout the day.
Being completely tired all
day isn't a good thing. Especially for someone
nocturnal like me. With early mornings and
busy days, sleep is a rarity for me. Unfortunately,
I'm a night person so when 12 am rolls around,
I'm wide awake. This isn't good because
this means I will end up sleeping around
4 am and waking up at 7 am leaves me with
three hours of sleep daily.
How exactly am I handling
this schedule? Not good. You start to realize
how your attitude and emotions change along
your weariness. How long will I last? Don't
know, ask me again in a few months. |
