What drives people to do the things they do? I asked myself that when I stood there watching my car get estimated for damages. Just the day before, I parked my car at North Vancouver for 45 minutes and come out to see damages to my car. That would be two hit and runs in almost three years of me having that car. Both times I was hit caused a large amount of damage.

But I wondered what would possessed someone to hit your car and decided that it's better off to take off? Was it because there were no damages caused to their own car or is it because they didn't want to deal with the insurance company? Either way if they have any thoughts of fixing those damages it would cost them. Unless they run off and claim it as hit and run also and risk being caught and charged as fraud. Because they choose to not take responsibilities for their actions, I have to pay for it.

But hey, I'm not that bitter about it anymore. Not really the first time I was screwed over this summer. What drives otherwise good people to do bad things? When I started to ask that question, I was thinking of one thing but now that I've asked that question, it can be further explore into other realms of one's life. What indeed.

Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.
