The unspoken Code. Honoured, respected, and practiced. The Code is rarely talked about but it's there. The Code is picked up and instilled upon from an early age. Some live by it, some use it only to their advantage and others just acknowledge it's existence.

What is the Code? The Code is the respect guys give other guys. It's the guy's Code. It's a certain honour, a kinship among men. There is certain things you just don't do and the most important one is don't disrespect the Code. It's how we treat each other. You never knowingly hit on another man's girl. You never leave your friend in a fight. You never date your friend's ex. There is certain things you just don't do.

But not everyone follows this code. There are many out there that will disregard the Code. And no matter how well you believe you're following the Code to the letter, everyone breaks the Code from time to time. I, myself, have been guilty of breaking the Code on many occasions. But I feel that on the most part, I have follow this code as best to my ability.

Don't get me wrong, the Code isn't a perfect system. As many problems the Code has solved, it has caused a few problems. So why do we follow it so? Because in the end, it has a few underlining rules that we all try to follow.

In the end, the Code is unexplainable. Every guy cares a sense of the Code within him. It's just about honour, respect and even a bit of chivalry. For the code is not just to respect your fellow man but also your fellow women.
